Slovenian Armed Forces and Development, Education and Training Command (DDETC) supported by Italian Joint Services Staff Institute (ISSMI) organized the 5th module of the High Level Course from 6 – 11 April 2008 in Brdo near Kranj (Slovenia).
Foundation Together joined Informal Humanitarian Aid Committee Meeting (HAC)

The Meeting was organized within the Slovenian Presidency of the EU on March 6-7 at Brdo Congress Centre. This year the meeting was on children in emergencies. This issue is one of the priorities of the Slovenian Presidency of the European Union. Foundation TOGETHER was invited to share more specific aspect of assistance to children in armed conflict. Mrs. Vera Remškar, Executive Director of the Foundation Together, presented the importance of psycho-social assistance to children in post-conflict areas.

With friendly donations of art material these companies contributed to successful accomplishment of seminar for art pedagogues and teachers, which took place in Priština between 15. and 16. February: AF d.o.o. from Ig near Ljubljana, Art Ljubljana d.o.o. and company Aero d.d.
Special thanks goes to the private faculty RIINVEST from Priština, which generously provided free of charge space for the implementation of the seminar.
Seminar for teachers has started this year Art project in Kosovo

Between 15th and 16th of February Foundation Together organized a seminar for 30 art pedagogues and teachers from elementary schools form municipality of Priština, which are involved in this year project of psychosocial help through art.
During the seminar art pedagogues and teachers gained new skills and were introduced to the new methodology of how to use art as a mean to help children express themselves and their emotions. This year the seminar was lead by Slovenian academic painter Gani Lalloshi who presented to pedagogues new approaches in painting and the Portuguese expert for art therapy Eduardo Marques. At the end of project, beside classical exhibition of paintings, Foundation Together will organized a big creative work shop which will take place in June in Priština.
