| Opening of the Youth Exhibition within the framwork of ART project |
| For the third consecutive year, The Foundation “TOGETHER” trained art teachers and class teachers in good art teaching practices and, in particular, how to use art expression as a form of psychosocial assistance to traumatised children. The training seminar was followed by creative workshops in schools, held from February to June 2008.
The project concluded officially on 17 June 2008 with opening of the exhibition, in the form of an installation of selected works, in front of the National Theatre of Pristine. All works created by children in 2008 were exhibited in the art gallery next to the theatre. The exhibition offered an opportunity to the participating children, their parents and the broader public to see the children’s creations and to learn about the project. Moreover, the exhibition represented recognition of the efforts made by the participants in the project, while the Foundation “TOGETHER” and the donors to the project obtained an additional confirmation of the justifiability of project implementation.
The children’s art works, created during the course of the project, embellish also the yearly planner of the Foundation “TOGETHER”, published in December 2008. |
