Dear friends and colleagues,
Maintaining
permanent
competitiveness
requires continuous
new ideas about
how to improve the organisation of
one's business. The answer lies not
only in improving existing
technologies or searching for new
technologies, but also in innovative
organisation, which is an important
factor in increasing business success.
Projects and project organisation are
an integral part of this problem. The
contemporary dynamic environment
requires flexible organisation, and the
various types and forms of project
organisation are an integral part of
this. How do we determine the most
appropriate solution for our own
problem? What are the recommendations
of those who have
succeeded? What does theory tell us?
What are the trends? What is the
influence of globalisation and the
mixing of different organisational
cultures? These and others are the
questions we want the representatives
of the profession and
users to discuss at our second joint
IPMA & ICEC Expert Seminar, to
which we have given the
working title:
THE POWER OF PROJECT
ORGANISATION - QUALITY
BREAKTHROUGH
Classical forms of business organisation no
longer satisfy the needs, brought about by the
dynamic business environment of the 21st
century, which is characterized by
globalisation, accelerated technological
development, instability of business
environment etc. The classical organisation is
rigid and responds badly to emerging needs.
To solve this problem, different forms of
network organisation have come out in theory
and practice. Projects and project
management are an important element of
these new organisational concepts and
approaches.
The expert seminar aims to employ different
points of view in considering the above
problems and thus help contemporary
companies and other organisations. We intend
to highlight the role of project organisation, as
a part of contemporary business organisation,
which helps us to efficiently manage one-time
business processes - projects. For this reason
we have invited a number of international
experts in this field, who will try to expose
these problems by means of discussions,
presentations, and confrontations of different
perspectives and thus help to indicate some
paths towards useful solutions. We also
invited experts from different companies to
present practical solutions which resulted from
confronting similar problems in their
organisations.
IPMA & ICEC Expert Seminar is intended for
experts who deal with organisation and
organisation of contemporary business in
theory or practice. It is also meant for people
who confront these problems through daily
managing of their companies or organisations
- managers or professionals.
You are cordially invited to attend this
prestigious international meeting of project
management experts and to make the most
of this opportunity to gather information that
could benefit your company or organisation.
