INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTATIONS ORAL PRESENTATIONS POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS ARE MANDATORY at all Congress Sessions. You do not need to bring your own laptop. All the projections will be done from a central computer. Exceptionally, those who still use traditional slide projection technologies can have their slides scanned and turned into a PowerPoint format presentation by handing in their material at the Speaker Centre/Preview Room, located in the first Foyer Hall, one day before the presentation. On special request of the Invited Speakers, a slide projector for using classical 50 x 50 mm transparency slides – LEICA format 24 x 36 mm, overhead projector or video projector can be made available in scientific sessions rooms. Such a request must be sent to the 19th ECP Secretariat at least a month prior to the Congress. Equipment to enable a final check of your presentation will be available at the Congress Centre in the Speaker Centre/Preview Room, located in the first Foyer Hall. Technical staff will be at your disposal in the Preview Room on: Saturday, September 6 from 15.00 to 19.00 Sunday, September 7 from 08.00 to 19.00 Monday, September 8 from 08.00 to 20.30 Tuesday, September 9 from 08.00 to 19.00 Wednesday, September 10 from 08.00 to 19.00 Thursday, September 11 from 08.00 to 14.00 Speakers are kindly asked to deliver their presentation on disc (CD-ROM or diskette), slides (standard frame 50 x 50 mm – LEICA format 24 x 36 mm, marked with the name of the speaker and successive number) or video cassette to the Preview Room at least 3 hours before the beginning of the session or the previous afternoon for the morning sessions. Authors are requested to have their posters displayed in the poster area by 8.30 on the day of presentation and to remove them at 18.30 on the same day. The posters' index numbers will be found in the Final Programme and the same index numbers will be shown on the poster boards. Presenting authors are requested to be available for short presentation and discussion of their posters during the guided Poster Presentation in the lunch break 13.00 - 14.00.
