I seize this opportunity to inform you that Slovenia will host the 13th European Conference of Ministers responsible for Regional Planning (CEMAT), which is going to take place on the 16th and 17th of September this year in Ljubljana, in Grand Hotel Union. In parallel with this event Maribor will host (on the 17th and 18th September in Hotel Habakuk) an international seminar under the title:

"Consequences of EU enlargement".

Many efforts have been made to organise a substantially rich seminar with the participation of the prominent domestic and foreign lecturers who would be able to enlighten the consequences of enlargement from the economic, social and spatial perspective, which would bring the synergy of domestic and foreign knowledge.
